PITTSTON -- Hollidaysburg saw its run end in the Little League Baseball 12U Pennsylvania State Tournament on Saturday with a 9-3 loss to East Side of West Chester.
Hollidaysburg finished 2-2 in the double-elimination tournament with both losses coming to East Side.
Ryan Donnelly went 3-for-3 with two home runs and three RBIs for East Side, and Cole Warner homered and also tossed a complete-game victory. Aiden Anderson had two hits for Hollidaysburg.
East Side went on to beat Newtown-Edgmont, 10-0, on Sunday and will now play undefeated Blue Mountain in the championship at 5 p.m. today. East Side must win today and then beat Blue Mountain on Tuesday to win the state title and advance to the Mid-Atlantic Regional in Bristol, Conn.

Cumming rolls
Eli Brown went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs to spark Cumming Motors to a 10-0 victory over McMullen Furniture in an Altoona Teener Minor League game at Seitz Field on Saturday.
Grant Wharton threw five shutout innings, giving up just one hit and striking out five, to earn the win. Wharton also delivered two hits and two RBIs and scored twice. Oliver Holtz drove in two runs, and Jase Kosicki added two hits.

Altoona Teener Minor League leader J&P Auto Mart moved to 10-4 by edging Locker Room, 13-12, at Seitz Field on Sunday.
Lane Cassarly collected three hits for J&P, and Kade Wasovich, Maverick Wentz and Marcello Bongiorno each drove in a pair of runs.
Logen Hatfield had three hits for Locker Room, Max Manning and Jayden Champeno each had two hits, Bentley Irvin drove in three runs, and Jake Schmitt and Braeson McGinnis each drove in two runs.
