MECHANICSBURG -- The World of Outlaws defending champion, David Gravel, claimed his third Williams Grove Speedway C&D Rigging Summer Nationals finale title, scoring $20,000 for a flag-to-flag performance in the 24th running of the affair.
It was his 10th win of the season on the World of Outlaws tour and the 11th overall of his career at Williams Grove.
Logan Schuchart finished second, Logan Rumsey finished an impressive third as the highest finishing Pennsylvania Posse driver, followed by Dylan Norris and Sheldon Haudenschild.
It was the second finale title in a row for Gravel at Williams Grove as he took the most recent event checkers in 2024. The 2025 race was lost to weather.
In other action, the preliminary race was also claimed by the Outlaw's when Buddy Kofoid romped to the win on opening night of the C & D Rigging World of Outlaws Summer Nationals.
Hidden Valley
CLEARFIELD -- Shannon Casher was subbing for his dad, Aaron, in the Small Block Modified race at the Hidden Valley Speedway where he picked up his first win of the season and it just happened to be in the sixth annual Fay Lumadue Memorial.
Other new winners included Chaz Smith, who won his first HVS Four-cylinder feature, Chad Van Horn picked up his first HVS win in the 600 Micros while Rick Maxim got the win in his first-ever visit for the track.
Hummingbird
REYNOLDSVILLE -- After a two-week hiatus, racing resumed for the third race of the 2026 season at the Hummingbird Speedway where Josh Fields led from green to checkered flag on his way to notching his third straight victory in the Pure Stocks to open the season.
Dating back to last season, the win was his fourth straight as he won the final race of 2025. The Srock Contracting Super Late Models and Semi-late Models each competed for some extra money for positions 2-6, courtesy of Away From Home Resort putting up an additional $100 each to those positions in both divisions for a grand total of $1,000.
