Donlan, Flick triumph

HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Lou Ann Donlan and Brenda Flick were the big winners this week at the Sylvan Hills Golf Association Club Championships.

Donlan was the low gross winner at 51. Flick was the low net winner (39).

The first flight low gross winner was Rita Brouse (58) while Connie Angeski was the low net winner (41). The second flight gross winner was Lynn Durbin (58), while Rosey McCoy was the low net winner (41). Sandy Murphy took third flight gross honors (55) while Pam Ergler was the low net winner (38).

In the Butch Focht Senior Men's Tournament, winning with a 38 on a cardoff was the team of Joe DeGennaro, Herb Bolger and Don Stubbs. They won over Andy Unger, David Johns and Steve Downing.

The third-place team of Tom Shea, Rick Young and Tim Yingling won (39) in a cardoff over the team of Robin Weaver, George Mitchell and Joe Maus.
