ORE HILL -- In a very tight high school golf match that was shortened to nine holes due to rain, Bishop Guilfoyle Academy edged Westmont Hilltop by one stroke, 158-159, and Central and Bellefonte by two strokes after both of those teams carded 160 at Iron Masters Country Club on Thursday.
Grant Okonak led the Marauders with a 38, and Carter Boland shot a 39.
Ben Hartman's 38 led Central, which went 4-2-1 on the day, and Tristan Ritchey shot a 40.
Penn Cambria, which had a team-best 41 from Colten Karlheim, shot 174 as a team and went 1-6.
Westmont Hilltop's Colby Carlson was the medalist with a 35.

DAYTON -- West Shamokin topped Portage, 212-291, at White Oak Golf Course behind a medalist score of 38 by Nick Krizmanich on Wednesday.
Kendall Bednarski had the Mustangs' low score with a 53.
