CHERRY TREE -- The Bishop Guilfoyle Academy boys golf team went 3-0 on Friday, beating Northern Cambria, River Valley and Portage in high school action at the Chetremon Golf Course.
The Marauders, who totaled a 188, were led by Grant Okonak, who finished at 36. BG's top four all finished under 40.
Northern Cambria's Parker Maseto shot a 39 as the Colts finished at 230 for second place.
River Valley (233) got a 38 from Brady Doak. Portage (285) was led by Nathan Phillips' 50.

Foursome win
HOLLIDAYSBURG -- The team of Tom Shea, Gary Zimmerman, Herb Bolger and Don Stubbs combined for a 38 in winning the four-man division in the Butch Focht Senior Men's Golf Tournament at the Sylvan Hills Golf Club.
The three-man division was won by the trio of Robin Weaver, Al Wilkes and Tim Yingling with a 36. Three strokes back in second with a 39 was the team of John Roland, Rodger Fair and Gary Phennicie.
In other action, in the Monday Golf League, Nick Matteson was the low gross winner (34) while Zack Lieb was the low net winner (31). Currently, Matteson and Luke Grove are the league leaders.
Closest-to-the-pin honors went to Steve Long (No. 2) and Kevin Fuller (No. 4). Solo hole winners were Hassan Zammam, Gabe Graham, Fuller and Lieb.
