The Central Blair Rec Commission Lakemont Park Summer Basketball League held its semifinals for Divisions 2 through 5 on Monday and several lower-seeded teams punched their way to the championship round.
Just one bracket, the Division 4 championship, will feature the top seed taking on the No. 2 seed after Deryk Montgomery's 15 points led top-seeded Tyrone Tire & Automotive to a 45-39 win over Lytle's Transfer and second-seeded Your Building Centers edged Brouse Wellness Chiropractic, 42-40, with the help of 10 points each from Andy Lytle and Matt Michael.
That championship game will be tonight at 6:20.
Before and after it will feature games with Cinderella stories.
The night will kick off with the Division 5 championship pitting seventh-seeded Budget Beverage -- the lowest seed playing for a title -- taking on fourth-seeded Sheetz at 5:30.
Budget Beverage knocked off Core Physical Training and Sports Training, 56-54, with the help of 15 points from Will Sankey. Sheetz, the fourth seed, knocked out No. 8 seed The Card Craze, 64-50, behind 23 points from Seth Rummel.
Tonight's slate will be closed out by the Division 3 championship between sixth-seeded Curry Fluid Power and fifth-seeded David J. Foreman General Contractor at 7:10.
Curry defeated second-seeded Warrior Sports PT/Grace Bible Church, 59-52, with 17 points from Eli Lingenfelter. David J. Foreman General Contractor beat top-seeded BMZ Law, 44-36, after getting 12 points from Jordan Swauger.
The Division 1 and 2 championships will be held Wednesday.
Top-seeded Metzler Brothers Transport took care of business on Monday, knocking out Teeter Group, 77-43, in the semifinals while third-seeded Beating the Odds edged second-seeded Sideline Cancer in double overtime, 69-63, with 20 points from Nate Gearhart to set up the Division 2 championship at 5:30.
The Division 1 title game was already set last week with third-seeded Hoopsfest ready to take on top-seeded Mike's Court at 6:20 p.m.
