JOHNSTOWN -- Altoona Area High School product Tanner Stroup enjoyed a monster game in helping Johnstown AAABA League champ Mainline Pharmacy dominate New York, 13-3, in seven innings in the national tournament at Sargent's Stadium at the Point on Monday night.
Stroup went 3-for-4 with two triples and five RBIs for Mainline, while Xander Richardson went 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs. Trey Wingard, Landon Hamer, Bryce Roberts and Aiden Snowberger each added two hits, and Chase Williamson went five innings to earn the win.
New York's Jasmark Munoz homered twice and drove in all of his team's runs.

JOHNSTOWN -- Johnstown AAABA League runner-up Martella's Pharmacy dropped its first game of the tournament on Monday with a 6-5 loss to Butler at Sargent's Stadium at the Point.
Jimmy Kunst gave up just three earned runs over eight innings to earn the win, and Tyler Danko drove in two runs. Lucas Oleksa had two of Martella's six hits.
