Lilly Conrad beats Blair County Oil

Lilly Conrad Chiropractic scored five times in three separate innings in a 19-5 win over Blair County Oil at Juniata on Wednesday in Altoona Greater City Baseball League action.

Brandon Ickes was 5-for-5 on the day with two doubles and drove in six runs. Chad McCoy slapped two doubles and knocked in four runs, while Ian Olsavsky also recorded three hits.

Julian Masone doubled and knocked in two runs for Blair County Oil.

Cumming rolls

Eli Adams had a 3-for-3 day with a home run, three runs scored and five RBIs in Cumming Motors' 20-5 win in four innings over Sheetz at Seitz Field in Altoona Teener Major action.

Ben Farabaugh added a double and knocked in four runs for Cumming Motors, which scored 12 runs in the third inning. Malaki Vasil and Vinny Nedimyer both doubled. Trae Triplin also recorded two hits and scored twice.

The win gave Cumming Motors first place.

KarPro triumphs

KarPro improved to 6-3 on the season in a 14-3 win over McMullen Furniture in five innings at Seitz Field in Altoona Teener Minor play.

Cole Brown led KarPro after being a home run short of the cycle, scoring four times and driving in three runs. Brady Beyer doubled and knocked in three more runs, while Grayson Rakar clubbed a double.

Chase Giger's RBI single in the top of the seventh inning pulled Locker Room into an 8-8 tie with Furrer Beverage at Seitz Field, and when Furrer failed to score in the bottom of the seventh, the Altoona Teener Minor game was ruled a tie.

Braeson McGinnis had three hits for Locker Room, and Giger had two hits and two RBIs.

Hollidaysburg 14U falls

NORTHUMBERLAND -- Hollidaysburg lost its opening game in the Pa. Little League Junior 14U State Tournament at Pineknotter Park, falling to East Side, 7-4.

Hollidaysburg led 4-1 after the top of the fourth, but East Side rallied with six unanswered runs. Callan Mills delivered three hits for Hollidaysburg, which will play Titusville in an elimination game at noon today.

STATE COLLEGE -- The Hollidaysburg 11U team moved to 2-0 in the four-team Pa. Little League Section 4 Tournament with a 10-0, four-inning win over Hershey at Montresor Field.

Hollidaysburg will now play in the championship round at 8 p.m. Friday with a win clinching the sectional crown. If Hollidaysburg would lose that game, a winner-take-all game would be played on Saturday.

Zachary Cohen gave up one hit to Hershey over three innings to earn the win, and Landon Pugh gave up no hits in the fourth to finish the game. Simon Rettig went 2-for-2, and Cohen and Joseph Runk each drove in two runs.
