HUNTINGDON -- The team of Bob Lamey and Gerry Huggler went 3-0 during week 3 of the Big Orange Golf League at the Huntingdon Country Club.
Three teams went 1-2: Geoff Clarke-Ed Gargula, Phil Thompson-Larry Newton and Alan Herbster-Keith black.
Lamey and Thompson were tied for loss gross score (35) while Huggler was the low net winner (35).
The shot of the day was turned in by Clarke, who sank a 20-foot, downhill putt on No. 9 to secure the match win.
Hole-in-one
Sam McLanahan, 16, sank a hole-in-one on No. 14 at the Park Hills Country Club.
He was playing in the Ridgerunners Junior Tournament. He used a pitching wedge from 134 yards out.
