Vinnie Hite homered, tripled and doubled to go with three RBIs in leading Eldorado Civics to a 14-4 play-in victory over Altoona Moose Lodge 74 in Altoona Teener Major League playoff action at Seitz Field on Sunday.
Lucas Farabaugh, Spencer Akins and Dylen Anders each added two hits for Eldorado Civics, which will play Old School Printing in the best-of-three semifinals beginning Wednesday.
Westley Kirsch had two hits for Altoona Moose.

Sheetz walks it off
Sheetz scored the game-winning run on an error and came away with a walk-off 9-8 triumph over Bavarian Aid Society in an Altoona Teener Major League play-in playoff game at Seitz Field on Sunday.
Jerran Moyer drove in four runs and had three hits for Sheetz, which will meet Cumming Motors in the best-of-three semifinals beginning Wednesday.
Will Megahan had three hits and drove in a run for Bavarian Aid Society.

Davison wins two
CLAYSBURG -- Seth Sprowles had two hits and three RBIs to lead Davison Snacks to a 9-7 victory in the first game of a doubleheader against Barton's Plumbing & Heating in Altoona Teener Major League regular-season action at Claysburg-Kimmel High School on Sunday.
Ty Davis, Brantley Miller and Evan High each drove in two runs for Davison in the second game, a 12-3 win, and Lawson Black had two hits and an RBI for Barton's Plumbing & Heating.
