LS Fiore, Greenwood Meadows in Park Home final

L.S. Fiore and Greenwood Meadows each won their semifinal games in the Park Home Classic Thursday night to set up the championship game Saturday at 8 p.m.

Sawyer Gibney had a three-run triple in the fourth inning to give L.S. Fiore a 6-0 lead in its eventual 10-0 voctory over Holsinger's Plumbing.

Greenwood Meadows used a three-run second inning to surge ahead of Park Home and held on for a 4-3 win in the other contest.

Easton Klausman and Jaxon Wagner had two hits for Greenwood. Declan Lutz homered for Park Home.

Park Home and Holsinger's will play in a consolation game Saturday at 5:30 prior to the title game.

Barton's Plumbing & Heating scored in every frame in a 14-3 win in five innings over Gingrich Insurance at Seitz Field in Altoona Teener Major League action Thursday.

Lawson Black went 3 for 3 and was a home run short of a cycle while driving in three runs. Holden Campagna and Landon Treon both doubled, scored twice, and knocked in two runs apiece.

Sam Gwinn doubled and knocked in a run for Gingrich.

Civics cruises

Lucas Farabaugh fired a one-hit shutout in five innings in Eldoraco Civics' 10-0 win over KarPro at Vets Field in an Altoona Teener Major League game.

Farabaugh walked just one batter and struck out a dozen KarPro batters in his outing.

Ari Holzer doubled and scored three times for Eldorado, while Spencer Akins had two hits, scored twice, and drove in three runs.

Bavarian pulls away

With the game tied at 9 in the bottom of the fourth inning, Bavarian Aid Society scored five times in the fourth and fifth innings to beat Metzler Brothers, 19-9, at Vets Field in an Altoona Teener Major League game.

James Seymour doubled and scored three times to lead Bavarian Aid Society, while James Morris brought home three runs and scored twice. David Ivory and Christian Walk also scored three runs each.

Brody Fagans knocked in a pair of runs for Metzler Brothers.

NORTHUMBERLAND -- Hollidaysburg defeated Titusville, 11-5, in an elimination game at the Pa. Little League Junior 14U State Tournament at Pineknotter Park.

Luca DiCiurcio and Carter Davison each drove in two runs for Hollidaysburg. Lucas Chamberlain and Carson Royer each added two hits.

Hollidaysburg is now 1-1 and plays Shikellamy today at 3 p.m. in another elimination game.
