Flood City Miller won the Central Blair Rec Commission Veterans Memorial Field Classic 14U Tournament on Sunday in walk-off fashion.
The team went 2-0 in pool play on Saturday, beating Bases Loaded Baseball, 12-1, and the Jarrettsville Hawks, 15-2. In the semifinals on Sunday, the Flood City Miller edged Bases Loaded Baseball, 7-6, before nipping Diamondbacks in the championship game, 10-9.
Flood City trailed Diamondbacks, 9-8, to begin the bottom of the sixth inning, and after scoring one run on an Elliott Strait RBI single, Brennan Kirsch was struck by a pitch with the bases loaded to force in the winning run.
Gunner Smith had two hits and two RBIs for Flood City, Dominic Pyo had two hits, and Cooper Miller and Strait each drove in two runs.

Old School Printing scored seven runs over the final two innings, but its rally came up just short as Cumming Motors hung on for a 10-9, eight-inning victory in an Altoona Teener Major game at Seitz Field.

BROCKWAY -- The Hollidaysburg Area Summer Baseball League advanced another team to the Pennsylvania Little League Section 4 Tournaments.
The Hollidaysburg 10U team defeated Mount Union, 13-6, in the District 11 championship game on Saturday to advance to the Section 4 Tournament, which will be held in Hershey starting this Saturday.
