Five-time Penn State NCAA wrestling champion Carter Starocci won his amateur boxing debut in Altoona on Saturday.

Starocci won in three rounds by unanimous decision of three judges at the “Clash on the Rail” at Scorchin Boxing Club on Beale Ave, according to club owner/trainer Jeremiah Witherspoon.

Starocci defeated another amateur, Nacor Eloise, who trains at the Sugar Ray Leonard gymnasium in Maryland.
