HOLLIDAYSBURG — The team of Lou Ann Donlan, Marsha Hunter, Doe Bolger and Sandy Murphy shot a 47 to win top honors in the Putt For Points event at the Sylvan Hills Golf Club.
Second-place went to the team of Dayonne Beck, Lynn Durbin, Nancy Vaughn and Joan Conway (42).
In men’s action, the team of Randy Drenning, Gary Zimmrman, Bill Blanset and Kevin Williams shot a 33 to win the Four On Four division title. Second place, at 35, went to Jim Burke, Andy Cameron, Herb Bolger and Joe Maus. They won on a cardoff with the team of Joe DeGennaro, Dan Hegarty, David Johns and Scott McGrain.
The team of Tom Shea, Jeff Vaughn and George Mitchell won the Three On Three division title with a 35.
Hole-in-one
TYRONE — R.J. Barnard sank a hole-in-one while playing golf at the Sinking Valley Country Club.
Barnard made the shot on No. 8 from the white tees using an 8-iron. It was witnessed by Jordan Albright, Bill Allen and Lambert Palmer.

PITTSBURGH — Following the 2026 NBA Draft, former Pitt men’s basketball player Barry Dunning, Jr. signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Portland Trail Blazers Thursday.
An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, non-guaranteed minimum salary contract, which includes an invitation to Summer League, training camp and preseason to compete for a roster spot, a two-way contract or a spot on a team’s G League affiliate.
Dunning played the 2025-26 season with Pitt after transferring from South Alabama. He averaged 12.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game and started 27-of-33 games, including each of the final 27.
Dunning shot 46.6 percent from the field and 34.5 percent from three-point range. He also had a team-best 28 blocked shots.
He had a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds against Texas A&M. In ACC play, he had back-to-back double-doubles againstt Cal and then Florida State.
