MECHANICSBURG — Freddie Rahmer broke through for his first Williams Grove Speedway sprint car win of the season on Friday night, scoring the 20th checkered flag of his career at the oval after taking over as the third and final leader of the event.
The Eastern Storm main event for the USAC Sprints, Mitchell Moles took the win and put himself into the point lead of the Eastern Storm standings with just two races to go this season.
Lincoln
Abbottstown — A pair of late-race cautions could not slow down Chase Dietz as he won Saturday night’s 35-lap Kramer Klash at the Lincoln Speedway, pocketing the $7,300 winner’s share in honor of National Sprint Car Hall of Fame inductee Kramer Williamson.
The victory continued Dietz’s strong season and provided a fitting triumph in one of Lincoln Speedway’s marquee events honoring one of Pennsylvania sprint car racing’s most beloved competitors.
In other action, Jayden Wolf took command on an early restart and never looked back in winning the 20-lap McConkey Insurance & Benefits 358 Sprint Car feature.
Path Valley
SPRING RUN — T.A. Ward of T.A. Ward Construction, and sponsor of the 270 micro-sprint division at the Path Valley Speedway, organized a special race for the 270’s, which had a total payout of $10,000, $2000.00 of the total going to the winner of the 30 lap feature event.
Forty-eight drivers signed in for the special race, which involved lap times, heat race finishes, & consolation events to determine the feature line up.
Ross Perchak started on the pole, taking the lead, and maintaining the position for the entirety of the race. Carter Himes pulled to second, until Steve Dunmire and Devin Dunmire passed him to take second and third with Bradyn Kuhn finishing fifth.
In other action, Chase Dietz picked up his 11th victory of the season when he raced from third to finally get by Logan Wagner who started on the pole for the 40-lap event.
PPMS
IMPERIAL — History, horsepower and heritage came together as the inaugural Don Gamble Silver Cup brought a special seven-division program to the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway.
The BRP Modified Tour headlined the night, while Vintage Night brought the Vintage Modifieds and Vintage Late Models back to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway.
Garrett Krummert (29), from West Middlesex, brought home the win in the Big Block Modified Feature.
Wally Stock dominated the Vintage Modified Feature and took the checkers. Colton Walters picked up the win in the Vintage Late Model Feature.
Brandon Burgoon kept his streak alive with his third straight win in the late model feature. Stephen Shelpman won the Hobby Stock Feature.
Samuel Regitz picked up the win in the Four Cylinder feature. Ryleigh Heasley continued her own streak with her third straight Young Guns Feature win.
Kassidy Kamicker started on the pole for the 20-lap Rohrich Parts Center/Chevrolet Performance RUSH Late Model Feature and won.
