LILLY — Defending Altoona Greater City Baseball League champion Lilly Conrad Chiropractic opened the 2016 season with a 5-1 win over Pro Fab Solutions on Sunday in a rematch of last year’s championship finals.
Shane Suter threw five innings to earn the win for Lilly, and Alexander Yost contributed two doubles and two RBIs.

Sanders leads Sheetz
Evan Sanders struck out 10 batters and tossed a four-hitter to help Sheetz beat Blair County Oil, 11-1, in six innings at Vets Field in opening-day City League action.
Caleb Sanders went 2-for-4 and connected on a three-run double for Sheetz, Lucas Muffie had two hits and two RBIs, Owen Kravetz drove in two runs, and Aiden Steinbugl added two hits.

Eli Brown had two hits for Cumming, and Avery Sowers drove in two runs. Cole Brown, who drove in three runs, and Owen Holtz each had three hits for KarPro.

Kade Wasovich pitched two scoreless innings with five strikeouts to close the game for J&P. Maverick Wentz drove in three runs.
