Margaret Bandstra, Kaden Henderson and Julia Van Kleunen all qualified for postseason swimming championships as members of the Blair Regional YMCA swim team.

Henderson and Bandstra will compete in North Carolina at the YMCA Short Course National Championships March 30-April 3, while Van Kleunen is off to Buffalo for the USA Eastern Zone Short Course Championships.

Henderson, 17, qualified for the 100 butterfly (51.80), 100 breaststroke (56.91), 100 backstroke (53.74) and 200 breaststroke (2:09.89). He will also compete in time trials for the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and 200 IM.

Bandstra, 17, qualified for the 100 breaststroke (1:06.06) and 200 breaststroke (2:27.34).

Van Kleunen, 14, qualified in the 200 backstroke (2:13.79). She will also compete in the 100 back and 50 fly.

She will swim on April 1-4.
