Ebuka Okorie scored 34 points for the Cardinal. Cam Corhen (22 points) and Barry Dunning Jr. (19) scored 41 of Pitt’s points. … The winner gets No. 7 seed N.C. State at noon Wednesday with that winner getting No. 2 Virginia at noon Thursday … Stanford is a 4.5 favorite over Pitt.

Season comes to an end for Red Flash
HACKENSACK, N.J. — The Saint Francis women’s basketball team saw its season end Monday night, losing 81-56 to Fairleigh Dickinson in a Northeast Conference Tournament opening-round game.
Aleah James led SFU (3-27) with 17 points while Shelby Ricks added 12 points. Both Sonia Sato and Makyiah Ward each contributed 11 points. Ava Renninger led FDU (28-4) with 19 points.
“We wanted to keep fighting and that was a testament to those young ladies,” SFU interim head cocah Raphael McNeill said. “They are a resilient group. They played hard.”
It is SFU’s final game as a Division I program as it will compete at Division III next season.
