Notable: Tonight marks the second all-time meeting in the series. New Haven defeated Saint Francis, 81-69, on Jan. 31, kick off SFU’s current eight-game losing skid. It’s the 14th time in the last 45 years the Red Flash have lost 8 in a row, but just the fifth time they’ve lost 8 Northeast Conference games in succession. It’s the longest losing streak for the Red Flash since the 2012-13 season. … The Chargers are powered by reigning NEC player of the week Jabri Fitzpatrick, who averages 14.0 ppg and 4.7 rpg along with 71 total assists and 50 steals. Najimi George (11.2 ppg) and Andre Pasha (10.6 ppg) also average double digits scoring. Last time against the Red Flash, Kheni Briggs scored a career-high 29 points in New Haven’s win in Loretto. … Last year, the Red Flash lost four of six going into its last three regular-season games. Saint Francis won the final three regular-season games, all in overtime, to start the magical run to its first NEC title in 34 years. This is the final three games of the regular season in 2025-26, but all three will be on the road, compared to one road game and two games at DeGol Arena last year. A three-game winning streak this year would get the Frankies into the postseason again.
