Live stats: https://stonehillskyhawks.com/sidearmstats/mbball/summary
Notable: Tonight is the eighth all-time meeting between the programs. Stonehill is 3-0 at home and holds a 4-3 overall advantage. A win would complete the first season sweep against Stonehill since joining the NEC. … Stonehill defeated Le Moyne on Feb. 21 to snap a 5-game losing streak that began against the Dolphins, similar to SFU’s 8-game skid that was begun and ended by New Haven. … Jermann Koffi leads the Skyhawks with 13.1 ppg while Davante Hacket (12.0 ppg) and Chas Stinson (11.1 ppg) also average double figures. Last time against Stonehill in Loretto, Ahmad Harrison hit a 3-pointer as time expired to lift the Red Flash past Stonehill, 63-61, on Jan. 19. … The win at New Haven evened SFU with Chicago State at five wins each, but if the regular season ended today, the Cougars would be in the postseason over the Red Flash. Since Chicago State defeated CCSU on Saturday, that win trumps the Red Flash’s best win against FDU (85-82, Jan. 4) for the tiebreaker. The simple way for SFU to clinch a postseason berth is to beat either Stonehill and CCSU, and Chicago State lose at LIU and Wagner.
