LEWISBURG — Dylan Andrews, a member of the Saint Francis University men’s track and field team, recently competed at the Gulden Invitational held at Bucknell University where he finished in the top 10 in the pole vault.

A junior, Andrews, a Bellwood-Antis graduate, placed sixth out of 13 competitors with a mark of 14-5.25.

Swimmer honored

Penn State Altoona senior Caden Traggiai was announced as the State University of New York Athletic Conference’s Men’s Swimmer of the Week.

Traggiai had three individual first place finishes in last Saturday’s home tri-meet, when the Lions defeated Juniata College and Elizabethtown College.

Traggiai’s first win of the day came in the 1,000-freestyle, during which he clocked in with a time of 10:23.95 to finish atop the standings. Later in the meet, he won the 500-freestyle with a time of 5:01.21 and also prevailed in the 400 IM after finishing in 4:27.51.

Traggiai was also part of the 200 freestyle relay team that took third place with a total time of 1:36.81.

This is the senior’s second SUNYAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week award this season.
