SFU men, women getting TV time

LORETTO — The NEC announced its television package, and the Saint Francis men’s and women’s basketball teams will each have a road game on ESPN+ and a home game on the RYZ Network this season.

The Red Flash women’s basketball game at Chicago State on Thursday, Jan. 22, will be an ESPN+ exclusive, while the men’s basketball contest at Mercyhurst on Thursday, Feb. 5, will air on ESPN+, SNP+ and NESN Nation.

Both the Saint Francis home games against Chicago State (men on Friday, Jan. 23 and women on Thursday, Jan. 29) will be on the RYZ Network, which will feature a men’s and women’s Game of the Week during conference play, airing school-produced broadcasts on its linear Free Ad-Supported TV live channel, accessible on most Smart TVs. RYZ is available on Samsung TV+, Roku, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Live, Xumo, Xfinity, LG, Fubo and more.

In addition, the NEC will select wild card games to air on RYZ on Thursday, Feb. 19 and Saturday, Feb. 21 and one NEC quarterfinal game. The Red Flash take on LIU on Feb. 19 (men at home, women on the road) and Wagner on Feb. 21 (men at home, women on the road). The men’s quarterfinals are on March 4, and the women’s quarterfinals are on March 9.

The 18-game NEC regular season kicks off on Friday, Jan. 2., with the men at home against Le Moyne, while women are at Le Moyne.
