Notes: Georgia Tech is 5-0 at home this season. ... This is Pitt's first trip to Georgia Tech since the 2022 season. In their previous five meetings, four have been in the state of Georgia with the Panthers going undefeated in the previous three matchups in Atlanta. ... Pat Narduzzi is 6-2 all-time against the No.16-ranked Yellow Jackets. ... In his first game back for the Pitt defense, Rasheem Biles finished with nine tackles, two for loss, one pass breakup, one-half sack and a pick six against the Fighting Irish. ... Tech QB Haynes King has thrown for 2,259 yards, 10 touchdowns and two picks, but on the ground, he is more impressive with 807 yards and 14 rushing touchdowns. Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi

On Tech's King: "Their quarterback is special. He is really good. Transferred from Texas A&M. I don't know if he's in for the Heisman, but the guy should be talked about for the Heisman because he is as tough as anybody in the country."

On defending Tech's offense: "I've never seen so many formations. They'll formation you to death, so you're working and walking through a million formations this week. Number 1 thing is to get lined up. Number two is read our keys, play fast and tackle well. The No. 1 key to victory is being able to stop Haynes King."

On Georgia Tech coach Brent Key: "A great football coach who's done an outstanding job. They might as well just announce him as ACC Coach of the Year. He's done an incredible job. A 9-1 football team finds ways to win in the fourth quarter. The first thing I did when I got home (Saturday) was stick on the TV and watch them against Boston College, and watch them just fight back. They're tough, just like their head coach is. He is a tough dude."

On bouncing back from the Notre Dame loss: "When we come in here on Sundays, it's not to bash them -- it is to watch what we did right, what we did wrong and try to fix it. Offensively, we didn't convert on third down, and again, the big problem is against that defense, you get in third-and-long, it's going to be hard to get out."

Pitt's next game: hosting Miami, Fla. on Saturday, Nov. 29
