Burke helps Marauders boys soccer take care of P-O at home

Andrew Burke’s second-half goal was enough for Bishop Guilfoyle Academy to defeat Philipsburg-Osceola, 2-1, on Tuesday night in boys high school soccer at Tom Irwin Field.
Burke also scored the first goal in the first half. Brenden Young had the assists on both of Burke’s goals as BG improved to 4-11. The Mounties fell to 3-11.

Great Commission wins
Great Commission handed Centre County Christian its first loss in 14 games this season in a 5-3 victory at Valley View Park.
Aaron Kurty scored two goals to lead Great Commission (9-3-1) , while Blake Nachtman and Van Nachtman also scored a goal each.
Danny Kurty, Donovan Bickings, and Blake Nachtman all had assists.
