LEWISTOWN -- Mylee Landis and the Juniata girls soccer team put an end to Penn Cambria's season Tuesday night at Mifflin County High School.
Landis scored twice in the first half and the goals held up as the Lady Indians beat the Lady Panthers, 2-1, in the District 6 Class 2A quarterfinals.
Juniata will play Cambria Heights in the semifinals in Patton next Monday.
Trailing 2-0, Penn Cambria, which finished 7-11, got its lone goal from Meghan Andersen at the 7:27 mark of the first half. Juniata (10-6) wound up out-shooting Penn Cambria, 28-9.l
Avery Holland finished with 11 saves for the Lady Panthers, while Yaa Serwaa stopped six shots for Juniata.

LEWISTOWN -- Anthony Maradiaga scored two goals for the Juniata High School boys soccer team Tuesday night in leading the Indians past Penn Cambria, 4-1, in the District 6 Class 2A quarterfinals held at Mifflin County High School.
Juniata, which improved to 17-3-1, will play next Monday in the semifinals against either Cambria Heights or Bald Eagle Area.
Penn Cambria, which got its lone goal in the second half from Nick Marshall, finished the season at 6-13.
The Indians, who out-shot Penn Cambria 25-4 and 6-0 from the corner, also got solo goals from Cooper Adamire and Jackson Shellenberger in a game it led, 2-0, at halftime.
Cody Farabaugh had 16 saves for Penn Cambria while Nolan Imes stopped three shots for Juniata.
