Ross, Naugle team up to help Hollidaysburg win

CLEARFIELD -- Braelyn Ross and Owen Naugle led the Hollidaysburg boys soccer team to a 2-0 win over Clearfield on Tuesday in high school action.

Ross scored in the first half for the Tigers off a Naugle pass, and the two reversed places in the second half for a goal.

Hollidaysburg, which out-shot Clearfield 28-2, improved to 14-2-1.

Conaway sparks Heights

PATTON -- Nate Conaway scored twice to lead Cambria Heights over Philipsburg-Osceola, 3-0.

The Highlanders (10-5-2) also got a goal from Levi Link.

Altoona wins

Altoona won its senior night game, 4-1, over Mifflin County on Monday at Mansion Park.

Guillermo Mejias had two goals and an assist for Altoona, and Bilal Eltyaeb and Jace Black also scored. Seniors honored were Black, Mohamed Adam, Colin Etters, Galal Ismail and Zach McGary.
