Top-seeded Lydia Paskowski of Central Cambria and second-seeded Kate Dunn of Central will meet for the District 6 Class 2A girls tennis championship on Wednesday after both won two matches on Monday at Mansion Park to advance to the championship match.
Paskowski topped Central's Zoe Grill and Tyrone's Nicole Ramsey. Grill won a Round of 16 match before losing in the quarterfinals, and Ramsey won two matches, including an upset over third-seeded Isabella Parrish of Westmont Hilltop, to make it into the semifinal round.
Dunn defeated Westmont's Lily Evans in the quarterfinals and Central Cambria's Taryn Ream in the semifinals. Ream beat Huntingdon's Rachel Boonie in the first round.

Tigers top Altoona
Hollidaysburg defeated Altoona, 312-333, in a high school boys golf match at Park Hills Golf Course on Monday with the help of a 74 from medalist Tyler Steiner.
Mason Bender and Braden Hatch each carded 79s for the Golden Tigers.
Altoona got a 77 from Adam Kanouff.

CENTRAL CITY -- Portage split with Shanksville-Stonycreek and Turkeyfoot Valley at Northwinds Golf Course.
The Mustangs fell to Shanksville, 202-206, despite a 48 from Nathan Phillips. Shanksville's Isaac Thiele shot a medalist score of 46.
Portage topped Turkeyfoot, 206-211.

Spartans capture title
EVERETT -- McConnellsburg won the Inter-County Conference championship tournament at Down River Golf Course with a team score of 318 after winning the ICC regular season title for the fourth straight year.
Parker Oakman of McConnellsburg was the individual champion with a 77, and Rockwood's Lucas Shipley carded an 80 to finish as the runner-up.
P.J. Mock had Claysburg-Kimmel's best score with an 89.
