Kira Trexler, a Central graduate, helped the Penn State Altoona women’s soccer team defeat Cedar Crest, 3-0, with a goal and two assists on Saturday.

n Altoona graduate Daniel Batrus was Penn State Altoona’s top finisher in the Ted Barclay Golf Invitational as he tied for 11th place out of 67 individuals. He matched his first-round score of 73 on Sunday, shooting 2-over to compile a two-day score of 146.

n Saint Francis football player Geno Calgaro was named the Northeast Conference/Atlantic Tomorrow Office Defensive Player of the Week. Calgaro paced the Red Flash with 12 tackles against FBS opponent Louisiana-Monroe in the season opener on Thursday.
