TYRONE -- Artie Fink Jr. finished three strokes ahead of Dan Solomon and Nick Helsley with a four-round total of 288 (74-68-72-74) to win his 20th Sinking Valley Country Club Blue club championship from the blue tees.
Joining Fink, Solomon and Helsley on Sinking Valley's Greater Altoona team will be Derrick Soellner, who finished fourth after carding a 1-under 71 in the final round.
On the second flight of the blue tee championships, James Russell came out on top, also by three strokes, over runner-up John Taylor, 316-319.
Lambert Palmer won the third flight of the blue tee competition by shooting a 324.
In the top white tee flight, Don Filby won by eight strokes, 156-164, over Dominic Fasolo Jr. Luke Rhoades shot back-to-back rounds of 84 to win the second flight off the white tees. He was four strokes better than Dan Casillo, and Derek Seager's 186 over two rounds won the white tee third flight by four strokes over Dom Fasolo.
Park Hills
Todd Homan won the Park Hills Club Championship.
Homan carded a 75 in Saturday's opening round and followed it with a 74 in Sunday's final round. His aggregate score of 149 was enough to secure the title by four shots.
Summit
CRESSON -- Collin Reese and Jacob Shuagis shot a 60 to win the two-man scramble on Member Appreciation Day at Summit Country Club.
DJ Michina and Bill Agosta were the runners-up after shooting a 62.
The team of Kelli Plunkett, Nicole Mento, Tracy Gregorich and Natalie Lidwell shot a 69 to win the women's division four-player scramble.
In other action at the course, Jeff Nieder, Larry Tomkowski, Mark Nieder and Dave Bicko shot a 61 to win the Camp Sequanota Benefit Golf Outing.
Randy Ferry, Dan Halverson, Rick Barron and Don Deaner shot a 62 and finished second as did the third-place team of C.W. Miller, Schawn Thropp and Jake and Nick Feliciani.
Huntingdon CC
HUNTINGDON -- The team of Phil Thompson and Keith Black went 3-1 during week 4 action in the Big Orange Golf League at the Huntingdon Country Club.
Two teams -- Bob Lamey-Geoff Clarke and Alan Herbster-Ed Gargula -went 2-2. Gerry Huggler and Larry Newton rounded out the week at 1-3.
Clarke was the low gross winner (34) while Herbster was the low net winner (35).
The shot of the day was turned in by Joe Masciangelo, subbing for Gargula, whose second shot on No. 5 from the edge of the woods came within a foot-and-a-half from the hole to finish with par.
Hole-in-one
Erick Kozak sank a hole-in-one while playing at the Iron Masters Country Club. He made the shot on the par-3 No. 16, 150-yards long. He used a 7-iron and it was witnessed by Blane Horton.
Windber
SALIX -- Brady Moran won the championship flight at the Windber Country Club in a playoff victory over Ben Steinbeck after both golfers shot 217.
Robert Dunlap won the first flight with a 154, and John Poldiak won the second flight with a 166.
In the third flight, Christopher Samples won with a 168.
Tiffany Ostinowsky won the women's championship, 162-164, over Elisabeth Zajdel. Pam Moot won the first flight with a 200.
