Hollidaysburg’s Crosby Denis puts in the time to shine

Athlete of the week achievement: Denis carded a career-best 3-under par 68 to win the Ebensburg Country Club Invitational by six strokes over many of the top female golfers in the area. She also shot a 37 and a 39 in nine-hole matches later in the week to help Hollidaysburg remain undefeated. In tennis, she won at No. 1 singles in a 5-0 victory over Central Cambria.
Season update: Hollidaysburg girls golf is 6-0, and the girls tennis team is 3-0.
