Madison Shetrom (33) is the first winner of the Blair Regional YMCA's Brooke Zimmerman Memorial Award given to a player in the league that is known for their grit and hustle like Zimmerman, who was a victim of domestic abuse. Thanks to the generosity of Brady Appleman, Brooke's longtime coach, Shetrom was awarded a $250 award as voted on by officials who said she has a positive attitude while personifying class, dignity and respect for the game.
