Kelley Federation 13U team captures East Zone title game
13U Pony Baseball

HAGERSTOWN, Md. — The George B. Kelley Federation entry in the Pony Baseball 13U East Zone Championship won the tournament on Sunday with a 12-0 five-inning win over Athletix at Funkhouser Park.
The local team qualified for the Pony 13U International World Series in Carlsbad, Calif., July 25-28.
Ryan Daniels went 3-for-3 with three home runs and four RBIs in the title-clinching win. Gunner Smith and Kannan Shields also homered.
Kelley Federation beat Hagerstown, 17-6, on Saturday with Smith and Brennan Kirsch homering and each driving in three runs, along with Chance Butler. The team started the tournament with a 12-2, six-inning win over the Ironmen on Friday with Kirsch driving in three runs.
