Jay Albarano had three hits and scored two runs to help Imler's Poultry defeat Honey Baked Ham, 5-2, in a Greater City League/AAABA game Tuesday at Vets Field.
Imler's (7-5) also got two hits from Kaden Mountain and Jake Hileman. Winning pitcher Eli Shade struck out and did not walk a batter while scattering eight hits.
Dan Taylor had three hits and an RBI for Honey Baked (2-13).

BELLWOOD -- Martin Oil swept a doubleheader from Beckerz on Blair Street, 6-1 and 15-1 in three innings, in 15U action.
In the first game, Maddox McCall went 3-for-3 with three RBIs, and Tristan Mock was 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
In the second game, Martin Oil, which evened its record at 7-7, scored 11 runs in the first inning, and Jackson Weiand gave up just two hits over the three innings.
With the losses, Beckerz fell to 5-9.

Furrer perfect
Furrer Beverage improved to 11-0 in the Altoona Teener 19U League Tuesday night, thanks to a twinbill sweep, 11-1 and 15-0, over Sheetz at Seitz Field.
In game one, Conner Waite had two hits and three RBIs for Furrer Beverage in an 11-1 win. Teammate Nick Kraft added two RBIs. Winning pitcher Ty Karageanes struck out three.
In game two, Furrer got two hits and three RBIs from Waite in a 15-0 win in four innings. Nate Phillips added three RBIs to go with two each from Nick Boslet and Evan Young. Leland Baer struck out five in the win.
With the losses, Sheetz fell to 5-8.

Park Home semis set
The semifinals are set for the Park Home Altoona Baseball Classic.
Marana Electric and Burgmeier's Hauling won Tuesday to join Holsinger's Plumbing and Greenwood Meadows as the four remaining teams in the single-elimination youth baseball tournament involving the three Altoona leagues and being held at East End Youth League field.
Marana Electric of the Altoona Area Baseball Association downed Penn Med of East End, 13-3, thanks to a seven-run fifth inning. Michael Gority drove in three runs for Marana.
Marana will face Burgmeier's of East End at 8 p.m. Thursday in the semifinals. Burgemier's rallied with three runs in the top of the sixth inning Tuesday to edge Sheetz of the Altoona Independent Youth Baseball League, 3-1. Talon Ritchey, who had two hits and struck out 13 batters, and Gavin Koehle combined on a one-hitter.
Holsinger's of the AABA and Greenwood Meadows of East End will meet in the other semifinal on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Holsinger, which finished runner-up to Sheetz in the AABA, knocked off the champs, 9-4, Monday behind three hits from Korbin Johnston and nine strikeouts from winning pitcher Micah Farabaugh.
Greenwood Meadows, the East End champ, blanked Park Home of the AABA, 12-0, on Monday with Braeson McGinnis getting two hits and Camden Pike earning the win.
The championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 8 p.m.
