Tanner Stroup and Gavin Albright each had three hits, and Stroup was a home run short of the cycle in an 11-2 Altoona victory over Chambersburg in high school baseball on Thursday.

Eric McAllister had two hits and three RBIs, and Conner Pike had two hits and scored three runs.

Caleb Truitt collected 3 hits for Chambersburg.

Heights victorious

JOHNSTOWN — Bryce Lewis homered and drove in two runs, and Garrett Jasper had two hits, two RBIs and came within one out of a complete game victory on the mound in a 6-1 triumph over Conemaugh Valley.
