Paris pitches, hits Lady Bulldogs to easy victory

CLAYSBURG — Claysburg-Kimmel improved to 12-0 with a 13-0, five-inning win over Mount Union Friday in high school softball action.

Winning pitcher Isabella Paris gave up three hits, struck out nine and walked one. She also finished with four RBIs and a home run. Teammate Harlee Harcolerode added two hits — one a home run — and three RBIs to go with three hits from Bella Francona and two RBIs from Zakera Bush.

PORTAGE — Portage broke open a close game with four runs in the sixth in a 6-1 win over Conemaugh Township on Thursday.
