The Altoona Area High School boys volleyball team dropped a 25-17, 25-11, 25-12 decision to undefeated Cumberland Valley Tuesday night in Mid-Penn Conference action at the Fieldhouse.
The Eagles came into the match with a 5-0 record.
The Mountain Lions, who fell to 1-5, got 11 assists, four digs and a block from Caleb Terza to go with 11 digs, five kills and two blocks from Lukas Weathersbee. Logan Coldwell contributed five digs and two kills, Nino Yohn was credited with seven digs and Luke Mitchell three kills.
Altoona is at Carlisle on Thursday.

Pirates teams fall
MOUNT UNION -- The Williamsburg boys and girls track and field teams both fell to 0-6 with losses to Mount Union and McConnellsburg.
The boys lost 102-42 to Mount Union and 90-42 to McConnellsburg. Ryland Corle won the high jump for Williamsburg (5-4). The girls fell 59-44 to Mount Union and 86-27 to McConnellsburg. Ava Dixon won the 1600 run (6:11) for Williamsburg.
Cailyn Skopic broke the school record in the 100 hurdles for Mount Union (14.25).
