Lady Tigers hold off Bellwood

BELLWOOD — Hollidaysburg erupted for nine runs in the fifth inning to pull ahead against Bellwood-Antis en route to a 12-11 win Tuesday in high school softball play.

The Lady Tigers had two runs batted in apiece from Mia Hall and AJ Good.

The Lady Blue Devils, who managed one run in the bottom of the seventh, received three RBIs and two hits from Parker Martin, two hits and two RBIs by London McKee, while Karlie Sweigert finished with two hits and Peyton McCahan knocked in a pair of runs.
