114 POUNDS: Finalists: Kael Davis, State College vs. Gavin Heverly, Central Mountain. Champion: Davis. Comment: Hollidaysburg’s Brayden Sidney will take on Heverly in the semifinals.

121 POUNDS: Finalists: Braiden Weaver, Altoona vs. Landon Krupka, Hollidaysburg. Champion: Weaver. Comment: Weaver wins his third District 6 title. Krupka will have to beat State College’s Jon Whitbred in the semis.

127 POUNDS: Finalists: Aiden Kunes, Central Mountain vs. Wyatt Long, Bellefonte. Champion: Kunes. Comment: I wouldn’t be surprised if Altoona’s Deklan Barr beat Long in the semifinals.

133 POUNDS: Finalists: Patrick Tarantella, Central Mountain vs. Phillip Sarbo, Altoona. Champion: Tarantella. Comment: Sarbo will have to beat Mifflin County’s Knable, who the Mountain Lion beat, 6-2, recently.

139 POUNDS: Finalists: Gavin Ciampoli, Altoona vs. Kamden Everly, Mifflin County. Champion: Ciampoli. Comment: Ciampoli should win his second District 6 title.

145 POUNDS: Finalists: Dalton Perry, Central Mountain vs. Andrew Gall, Bellefonte. Champion: Perry. Comment: I don’t understand why Gall is seeded third instead of second.

152 POUNDS: Finalists: Ezra Swisher, Bellefonte vs. James Whitbred. Champion: Swisher. Comment: Swisher is 35-1 and has really made a lot of improvements this season.

160 POUNDS: Finalists: Luke Sipes, Altoona vs. Noah Weaver, Bellefonte. Champion: Sipes. Comment: Sipes captures his fourth District 6 title, and he doesn’t have to beat Parker Kearns to do it.

172 POUNDS: Finalists: Asher Cunningham, State College vs. Mitchell Baronner, Hollidaysburg. Champion: Cunningham. Comment: Baronner will have to beat Bellefonte’s Jackson Long in the semifinals.

189 POUNDS: Finalists: Avery Aurand, Mifflin County vs. Bryce Brungard, Central Mountain. Champion: Aurand. Comment: Tempted to pick Bellefonte’s Hockenberry to reach the finals, but Brungard pinned him this year.

215 POUNDS: Finalists: Jack McHail, Bellefonte vs. Kai Fravel, Central Mountain. Champion: McHail. Comment: Altoona’s Michael Colyer will face off with Fravel in the semifinals.

285 POUNDS: Finalists: Peyton Kearns, Mifflin County vs. Scott Payne, Hollidaysburg. Champion: Kearns. Comment: Freshman Payne has had a breakout season.
