Saint Francis athletic director James Downer is no longer with the university according to the athletic department's website.
Downer was named athletic director at Saint Francis in July of 2020 after a three year stint at Eastern Kentucky University where he was the Senior Associate Athletics Director.
Under Downer's guidance, the football program won the NEC championship in 2022 while the women's track and field program and softball team added three and four conference championships respectively.
While a successor has not been officially named by the university, long-time Saint Francis athletics administrator Jim Brazill is listed as the athletic director.
Brazill was previously the Senior Associate Athletics Director, a position he's held since April of 2014.
A Johnstown native, Brazill leads the fundraising arm of the athletics department while also overseeing corporate sponsorship, athletics promotions, athletics communications, dance team and cheerleaders as well as the university band.
He has been a member of the athletics department since August of 2005 after serving as Vice President and General Manager of the Johnstown Chiefs.
