HOLLIDAYSBURG -- The Hollidaysburg Area High School boys and girls swimming team defeated Penns Valley on Monday in high school action.
Andrew Shanafelt won 200-yard freestyle and 500 freestyle to lead the Tigers to a 110-37 win, and Addison Smith prevailed in the 50 free and 500 free events to pace the Lady Tigers to a 97-71 victory.

TYRONE -- Patrick Van Kluenen won the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke and was also part of two winning relays in leading the Tyrone boys to a 108-24 rout of Somerset.
