EBENSBURG -- Central Cambria made 11 3-pointers and held Cambria Heights to just seven points in the first half while beating the Highlanders, 56-26, in the first round of the Ron Davidson Roundball Classic at Central Cambria on Saturday in high school boys basketball.
JD Brouse scored 13 points, and Brayden Swope added 10 points for the Red Devils.
In the other first round game, Penn Cambria handled Conemaugh Township, 71-48, with the help of a 30-point outing from Brandon Rabish. Caden Gibbons added 14 points for the Panthers, and Blake Lilly had 12 assists.
The championship game will be held tonight at 7:15.

Other Mountain Lion placewinners included Deklan Barr (121) and Braiden Weaver (127), who both won their third-place matches. Gavin Ciampoli finished fourth at 145 pounds, Michael Colyer was fifth at 215 pounds and Dominic Nardozza placed eighth at 107.
