TYRONE -- Brooklyn Galinis' goal off a pass from Morgan Ross with just over six minutes remaining in the first half proved to be the difference for Cambria Heights in a 2-1 victory over Tyrone in high school girls soccer action on Monday.
Olivia Newlin scored the lone goal for the Lady Golden Eagles on an assist by Allie Blaska.

DUNCANSVILLE -- Blair County Christian remained unbeaten by breaking out to a five-goal lead at the half en route to a 6-0 win over Grier in high school girls soccer.
Gabi Dull netted two goals and assisted on another for the 14-0-1 Lady Bobcats, while Ava Snyder, Tegan Kennedy, Gianna Spinazzola and Calee Kennedy notched one goal apiece.

Hundley repeats
BEDFORD -- Chestnut Ridge High School sophomore Haley Hundley recently won her second straight District 5-8 Class 2A girls singles tennis championship.
Hundley defeated Bedford junior Kasey Shuke, 6-0, 6-0, in the finals. She will now compete in the PIAA championships on Friday, Nov. 1.
PSU Altoona leads
BUTLER -- The Penn State Altoona men's golf team finished day one of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championships in first place, holding the top spot on the team leaderboard after Monday's round at Butler Country Club.
The Lions shot 312 as a team on the par 71 course.
