ALEXANDRIA -- The Bellwood-Antis High School girls volleyball team improved to 9-5 Monday night, thanks to a 25-22, 25-16, 25-14 win at Juniata Valley.
The Lady Blue Devils got 37 assists from Avah Hassler, 20 kills from Addy Turek, 17 digs from Ava Patton and 14 kills out of Johanna Heckman.

PORTAGE -- United beat Portage in four sets, 15-25, 21-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-10.
Mya Selapack and Calla Miko each had 10 kills for Portage, Payton Noll had 18 digs, Lyndsey Castel delivered 10 service points, Selapack had 23 assists, and Contessa Smith added five aces.
