CC boys, girls down Altoona

Jazmine Boland shot a 48 to help the Central Cambria girls golf team defeat Altoona, 149-152, at the Park Hills Golf Club Tuesday in high school play.

Altoona (0-2) was led by medalist Ellie Filer, who finished with a 42.

Lady Marauders get one

Bishop Guilfoyle Academy went 1-2 in a Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference event at the Park Hills Golf Club, beating Bellefonte (166-184) while falling to Westmont Hilltop (140) and Philipsburg-Osceola (162).

The Lady Marauders (3-3) got a 44 from Elle Wilson to lead the way. Kelly Mullen of Westmont Hilltop was co-medalist with Wilson. She also shot a 44.

Bellwood-Antis had two golfers in competition, Leigh Clapper (64) and Nicole Lovrich (75).

The Lady Mounties were led by Maddy Hampton (49) while Bellefonte was led by Grace Angle (55).

Semelsberger sparks CC

Thanks to a 73 from Austin Semelsberger, the Central Cambria boys golf team downed Altoona, 406-411 in high school action at the Park Hills Golf Club.

The win improved the Red Devils to 4-2.

Altoona (0-2) got a 79 from Adam Kanouff.

Tigers still perfect

STATE COLLEGE -- Hollidaysburg improved to 12-0, thanks to wins over Philipsburg-Osceola, Bald Eagle Area, Huntingdon, Clearfield and Penns Valley at the Skytop Mountain Golf Club.

The Tigers (322) were led by Isaac Miller, who medaled with a 75. P-O (363) was second at 78. BEA placed third (370) behind Wade Habovick (83).

Huntingdon (373) was led by Reed Marshall (86) while Clearfield (389) got a 90 from Dylan Greslick. Penns Valley rounded out the scoring (444) behind Ben Karc's 94.
