HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Hollidaysburg captured two singles and both doubles matches to claim a 4-1 win over Central Mountain in the District 4-6 Class 3A semifinal action Monday in high school boys tennis play.
Garrett Bouchard and Michael Waibel won their singles matches, while the teams of Felix Xu-Yvan Chen and Alex Arbogast-Jacob Sidney captured the doubles for the Golden Tigers.
On Friday, Hollidaysburg plays the winner of Altoona-State College for the title.

Lions moving on
SELINSGROVE -- Altoona swept all five matches of its District 4-5 Class 3A quarterfinal matchup with Selinsgrove, using the 5-0 win to get to the semifinals.
The Mountain Lions got singles wins from Luke Mitchell, Josh Adams and Brady Sassano, while the teams of Avery Lanzendorfer-Aiden Aiken and Max Chile-Sean Ratchford won in doubles play.
Altoona will travel to State College on Wednesday The winner plays Hollidaysburg on Friday.

SOMERSET -- Somerset's Cornelius Grau and Josiah Antram teamed up to capture the District 5 doubles tennis title with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Luke Barnett and Nolan May of Tussey Mountain.
Grau and Antram advanced with an 11-9 semifinal victory over Colin Gable and Jack Becker of Bedford, while Barnett and May earned their spot with a 10-0 win over Windber's Cayden Thompson and Michael Curry.
