CLAYSBURG -- The Claysburg-Kimmel baseball team ended the regular season on Wednesday with a 13-2 loss to McConnellsburg in five innings in high school play.
Mason Campagna got the lone RBI for the Bulldogs (7-11), who trailed 3-2 before giving up nine runs to McConnellsburg in the top of the fourth inning.
Andrew Mellott had two hits and four RBIs for the Spartans, who improved to 15-5.
Claysburg-Kimmel opens up District 6 Class 1A tourney play on Friday afternoon at home at 1 p.m. against Bishop Guilfoyle.
