Eagles soar
TYRONE -- A five-run sixth inning gave Tyrone enough of a cushion to hold off a Bishop McCort four-run seventh in an 8-7 win over the Crushers.
Kait Rockwell earned the win by striking out 15, walking three and only allowing three hits for the Lady Golden Eagles.
Sam Shaw and Tiffanie Tuskovich drove in two runs each for Tyrone.

Tigers triumph
HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Hollidaysburg scored six runs in the fifth and sixth innings to come away with a 6-3 win over Clearfield.
Winning pitcher Maria Malone struck out nine, walked two, while going 2-for-3 at the plate, including a home run, and driving in five runs for the Lady Golden Tigers.
AJ Good delivered two hits for Hollidaysburg.

McIllnay shines for NBC
LOYSBURG -- Lacy McIlnay's RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning scored Lacie Zelanko to give Northern Bedford an 8-7 walkoff win over Williamsburg.
McIlany finished with three hits and three runs batted in, Ava Helsel came through with three hits, including a solo home run, and winning pitcher Lindsey Bolinger helped her own cause with three hits for the Lady Panthers.
Zelanko, Leah Swanseen and Kasey McElgin registered two hits apiece for NBC.
Laney Prough led the Lady Pirates with two hits, including a homer, and three RBIs, while Raina Alexander and Kara Lansberry bagged two hits each and Billy Harnish also recorded a solo blast that tied the contest at 7-7 in the top of the seventh.
