ALEXANDRIA -- The Juniata Valley boys and girls high school track and field teams were swept by McConnellsburg and Southern Huntingdon on Thursday afternoon.
Maddie Hopsicker captured the 100 and 200 dashes, while Madison Sneath won the 1600 and 3200 runs for the Lady Green Hornets which lost 85-64 to McConnellsburg and 111-39 to Southern Huntingdon.
The boys, which fell 95-49 to the Spartans and 92-54 to the Rockets, had Bryce Weirich get victories in the 100 dash and pole vault.
