WINGATE -- In a high school track and field quad-meet from Tuesday, the Bedford boys topped Penn Cambria, 82-68, Huntingdon, 92-58, and Bald Eagle Area, 93-56, and the Bedford girls downed PC, 136-14, Huntingdon, 89-61, and BEA, 112-38.
The PC boys beat BEA, 75-71, but fell 80-69 to Huntingdon, which fell to BEA, 78-71. The PC girls lost 107-40 to BEA and 110-39 to Huntingdon, which beat BEA, 86-64.
Josh Stolarski won the 100, 200 and 400 dashes, and Carter McDermott won the long and triple jumps for the PC boys, Bedford's A.J. Koontz won both hurdles, and Huntingdon's Tyler Rader won the 800 and 1600 runs.
Ava Sipes (100 and 200 dashes) and Chloe May (1600 and 3200 runs) led the Bedford girls, and Huntingdon's Hayden Mark won the girls' long and triple jumps.
