MARTINSBURG -- Altoona improved to 5-3 with a three set victory (25-12, 25-12, 25-14) over Central Thursday night in high school boys volleyball action.
Altoona improved to 5-3 while Central fell to 2-7.
Lukas Weathersbee led the Lions with 12 service points, including four aces, eight kills and four digs, while Caleb Fries had 10 kills and six blocks, and Sam Kessinger tallied 23 assists and Nino Yohn totaled 15 digs.
Bryson Brooks fronted the Scarlet Dragons with five kills and five digs, while Christian Heuston had four kills and Logan Hummel registered 11 assists.
